Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA)

The Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) is a not-for-profit membership organization of manufacturers, sellers or providers of technology-based assistive devices and/or services. Their mission is to serve as the collective voice of the Assistive Technology industry so that the best products and services are delivered to people with disabilities. ATIA represents the interests of its members to business, government, education, and the many agencies that serve people with disabilities.

DAISY Consortium

The DAISY Consortium's mission is to develop the International Standard and implementation strategies for the production, exchange, and use of Digital Talking Books in both developed and developing countries, with special attention to integration with mainstream technology, to ensure access to information for people with print disabilities. Their vision is to make all published information available to people with print disabilities, at the same time and at no greater cost, in an accessible, feature-rich, navigable format.
